Keynote ’07
12/01/2007
Some of us are doing nothing else as just talking about iPhone and already putting away some money to get one as soon as it’s released. Others are thinking, hmm… I’d better wait for a while, see how it’s doing and probably get the second version of iPhone. There are also some who are thinking Apple are just stupid releasing iPhone without having the trademark.
But that’s not what I was going to talk about. Before keynote, lots of rumors were predicting new UI to replace Aqua, new displays, iWork ’07 and other stuff, but now that’s all forgotten and everything I’v heard these days since keynote is iPhone, iPhone, iPhone. Even AppleTV doesn’t get a percent of iPhone’s attention.
There are some things I noticed in Steve’s keynote, which left me wondering why anyone hasn’t discussed them:
- The presentation seemed to have some unseen animations. Was it already iWork ’07?
- Steve Jobs at the very beginning said that we will be talking about Mac a lot in upcoming months, but just not right now? Is it about new MAC’s? Probably about rumored Ultra-Portable Mac?
- Did you notice that they have smartly put little Apple logo before iPhone name in their home page? They have already prepared a backup plan, in case Cisco wins lawsuit (which seems to be unlikely)against Apple for iPhone name usage. If that happens, they will have to just take the ‘i’ out of the equation and call it Apple Phone just like Apple TV.
